  • Students must submit a paper form in addition with the signature of the university trainer.

The 2019 TASP Spring Institute will be held in the Ayers Auditorium located in the McWherter Center at Jackson State Community College on April 13th, 2019. 

Registration will be open from 8:00-9:00 am, with a continental breakfast included in your registration.  

The morning sessions include:

9:00 - 10:30  Relation between Learning Disabilities and Executive Functioning, by Aimee R. Holt, Ph.D., Associate Professor at Middle Tennessee State University*

10:45 - 12:15 School Threat Assessments, by Brenna Morse, Director of the Tennessee School Safety Center, Office of Safe and Supportive Schools*

Lunch is provided from 12:20-1:20.  A box lunch is included in your registration.

The afternoon session topic:

1:30 - 3:00 Alternate Assessment Participation Decision Making: ESSA Requirements, by Joanna Bivins, Ed.S., NCSP, the TDOE Director of School Psychology ServicesOffice of Special Populations*

*Attendees will have the opportunity to earn NASP approved CPD credits

Online registration will be available through Friday April 5, 2019 

• A returned check fee of $20.00 will be charged for all returned checks.

Refund Policy: Full Refunds will be provided for pre-paid registrants after the conference if notification is received two weeks prior to the spring institute. Any cancellations received within two weeks of the conference will be given a refund after the conference minus a $20 cancellation fee. Please submit email requests to TASP President at president@tasponline.org .
